With the search functions in Finna, you can find research publications, articles and e-books in various scientific fields and from various publishers in electronic form. The article search is a convenient way to search for articles.
However, the databases' own interfaces offer more versatile possibilities for narrowing down the search. Therefore, also search in the individual databases directly.
To access articles in full text, you may be required to log in to the database.
If you are looking for a specific article, you search with the article title in Finna. If you do not get any search results, check in Finna whether the journal in which the article was published is available via the library. You can also check via a search engine if the article is made freely available in a publication archive.
If you cannot find the article on the web or in the library, contact the inter library loan service at your library. You can order a copy of the article from another library. You can also check the printed journal collections at other university libraries in Finna.fi.
